Mission Statement
To continue to create safe spaces and empower marginalized
communities working together to achieve equality, inclusion and diversity with
a focus on the 2SLGBTQ+I (Rainbow) community in Surrey
Guiding Principles
- Respecting and supporting the sovereign Indigenous Nations upon whose lands we reside
- Exist to promote the community alongside the City of Surrey, Province of BC
- Partner with community organizations that promote equality, diversity and accessibility including hosting events
- To preserve the history of the 2SLGBTQ+ (Rainbow) Surrey
- To donate to 2SLGBTQ+ (Rainbow) Community and other causes within the Surrey Pride Society mission and vision
- To raise funds for the Surrey Pride Society’s vision and mission
